Capri Trend

Capri, uncontested legend, a muse for the most famous writers, artists, photographer, directors, will take a piece of her beauty and culture and bring them abroad.
From 2014 Fondazione Capri will organize the new project Capri Trend, in the most prestigious museums and centers for contemporary art, around the world.

Fondazione Capri will present the first exhibition Capri Trend, to celebrate the five years of its activity, gathering the latest commissioned photographs, of some of the famous Italian photographer, hosted until now in the Festival of Photography, in Capri, Ferdinando Scianna, Olivo Barbieri, Maurizio Galimberti, Francesco Jodice, Irene Kung.

The exhibition includes about 40 works, will be open in the 2014 in Hamilton, Bermuda; Baku, Azerbaijan Johannesburg, South Africa; Mexico City, Mexico; Istanbul, Turkey. Five artists to celebrate the five years of activities of the Fondazione Capri, five years of unexpected acceptance from Italian and foreign visitors, that celebrate the beauty of a personal tale of places, of people, of the beauty of Italian and Italy, that comes out from the artist’s vision.

A catalogue will show the beauty of the exhibitions organized in the last five years from Fondazione Capri, to promote the culture of Capri and of Italy, abroad, with a contemporary point of view. The catalogue will be translated in three languages, with text of the curator, Denis Curti and with distinguished essays.
